During his 2016 presidential campaign, then-candidate Donald Trump stirred up a great deal of controversy when a recording from 2005 captured the soon-to-be president describing how to hit on women in extremely vulgar terms.
Many people took issue with Trump’s tactic to “grab them by the [expletive],” but one person who had no problem with what he deemed as “locker room talk” is none other than Floyd Mayweather.
Mayweather recently appeared on “Hollywood Unlocked” to discuss a number of things but came to the defense of President Trump on that particular topic.
“People don’t like the truth,” Mayweather said about Trump. “He speak like a real man spoke. Real men speak like, ‘Man, she had a fat [expletive]? I had to grab that fat [expletive].’ Right? So he talking locker room talk. ‘I’m the man, you know what I’m saying? You know who I am. Yeah, I grabbed her by the [expletive]. And?’”
Mayweather wouldn’t go as far as to say that he and Trump are “friends,” but did say that he could call him direct at any time. He would go on to say that he needed to “find out what’s going on” so he could “relay the message to everybody else” who wouldn’t take those steps to meet with the current president.
This isn’t the first time that Mayweather has caused a stir when it comes to the 45th president. Back in November, a picture of Mayweather with Trump and his son surfaced on Instagram. Mayweather didn’t shy away from the criticism and decided to attend his inauguration in January.
Mayweather reiterated that it wasn’t because he and Trump were friends, but because he wanted to attend an inauguration for the next president.
“I just wanted to say I did it one time in my life,” Mayweather said. “It didn’t matter who the president was. I just wanted to go to be a part of it, to see how it is.”
But one thing that Mayweather would explain is why people need to stop complaining about the man who currently runs the White House and has been embroiled in a number of controversies since taking office. But for the man who recently dispatched of Conor McGregor and raked in another nine-figure payday, the people that Trump affects are those like him: rich.
“A lot of times, it’s, ‘Aw, man, it’s going to affect us.’ My man, if you ain’t making 400, 500, $600 million, it’s not going to affect you no [expletive] way. It’s only going to affect somebody like me,” Mayweather said. “I’m the [expletive] that should be tripping—paying $34 million, $25 million, $26 million [in taxes]. I should be tripping! But guess what I’m saying? ‘It’s alright. It is what it is.’”
Ultimately, Mayweather believes that everybody should worry about themselves and not what the president is doing. From Trump’s views on immigration and decision to end DACA to what transpired in Charlottesville, Mayweather says that people shouldn’t concern themselves with any of it. As bizarre as that may sound, it’s Mayweather’s story and he’s sticking to it.
“A lot of times, we spend too much time talking about and worrying about other people’s business instead of worrying about our own,” he continued. “I got to where I got to—it’s easy, I make millions and millions of dollars on a daily basis—because I focus on Floyd.”

Love him or hate him, one thing is certain about Conor McGregor. The Irish UFC champ has that special something, it could be his wittiness, the swag, the confidence or simply that X-factor that makes him stand out from the rest. The public simply adores him. In fact his charisma and magnetic appeal are so strong that even his lookalikes can draw in a crowd. A McGregor doppelganger went out on the streets of LA, most likely from Russia, who was claerly more buffed than the real deal, but people did not seem to mind at all. You don’t have to even be Conor, so long as you simply look like him you are able to attract the fans. They looked enthralled at the prospect of getting a selfie with the “fake” Conor!

Former heavyweight champion of the world Mike Tyson isn’t giving Conor McGregor a fighting chance — or even a correct identification.
In an interview with Barstool Sports’ “Pardon My Take,” Tyson, who frequently grinded together McGregor’s name as “McConor”, did not mince words when asked about the mega-bout set for Aug. 26, deemed the most hyped fight in a decade.
“McGregor is going to get killed boxing,” Tyson predicted.
Iron Mike’s pick is in step with Vegas, who made the undefeated boxer the heavy favourite over the MMA star who’s never boxed. Tyson is especially confident in Floyd Mayweather because of the rules of the boxing match — in that, it’s a boxing match.
“I got mad because I thought they were going to use MMA rules against boxing because that’s what it’s all about: Can the boxer beat the MMA guy?” Tyson said.
“McConor put his dumbass in a position where he’s gonna get knocked out because this guy’s been doing this all his life since he was a baby.
“McConor can’t kick and grab and stuff, so he won’t stand much of a chance.”
Tyson said that if he fought McGregor, 29, he would have allowed him to use his legs.
The Irish superstar was never going to let an attack like that pass without comment and hit back at the boxing legend on Twitter.
“That’s nice Mike,” McGregor wrote. “But you’re looking at the new Don King here, son. Money is mine.”

The histrionics of the four press conference world tours between McGregor and Mayweather may be over, but the hype over the August 26 fight is never ending. In case you missed it over the weekend, Conor McGregor and Draymond Green had an entertaining exchange on Instagram, stemming from a picture of McGregor wearing a #23 throwback Warriors jersey.
Draymond, who currently rocks #23 for Golden State, reposted the photo of Conor with a caption that read,
“We rocking with Floyd bro not you… take that off bruh.”
Naturally, McGregor was quick to clap back at Draymond, commenting on his IG post,
“That’s CJ Watson’s mate,” he wrote. “I don’t know who the F you are. No disrespect tho kid. Keep hustling and stay in school.”
“Now ask yourself why I’m rocking CJ when I don’t know or give an F about basketball. I dribble heads off the floor, not a ball. This is no game here kid.”
So what’s the significance of the C.J. Watson jersey? Well, Watson allegedly slept with Floyd Mayweather’s ex-girlfriend, Josie Harris, back in 2010 and when Floyd found proof, he allegedly beat her and threatened both of their lives.
As you might have heard, McGregor is set to box Floyd on August 26th, and he isn’t pulling any punches in the mind games department leading up to their much anticipated fight.

Conor McGregor fans are accused of abusing Floyd Mayweather’s girlfriend.
Abi Clarke, 25, has suffered vile abuse in the street and had a brick hurled through a window at her home.
Her tormentors are ‘fans’ of Conor McGregor, who faces Mayweather in a €500million Las Vegas showdown next month. They are in no way affiliated with McGregor themselves but it sounds like they are taking this rivalry too seriously.
It emerged last week that multimillionaire boxer Floyd, 40, and the former TOWIE beauty have secretly been dating for months.
But she says she became a target within hours of the news breaking.
Three thugs confronted her on the street and subjected her to a shocking torrent of abuse, ranting: “You plastic slag… You’re loose. Mayweather’s gonna die.”
Things got even worse in the early hours of Thursday when her Essex home was targeted.
A group of hooligans threw a brick through a window of the property at around 3 am.
It had a note attached that read: “F*** The Mayweathers”, a phrase often chanted by McGregor fans.
A source close to the TV star said: “It has been a real-life nightmare for Abi. The stuff she has had to deal with has been tough to take.
“She is genuinely worried about her safety. There are concerns that the worst could happen if things get out of control.”
Neighbours feared Abi had been hurt in the attack and rushed to help her. It was only then that the men fled the scene, leaving her in tears. A friend said: “It was horrific. Abi was understandably shaken by what happened.
“When neighbours went round to offer support she was having a panic attack.
“It had all come out of nowhere and she didn’t know what to make of it. She was sobbing and shaking.”
Abi has since been the victim of more sick taunts in the street. Our source added: “People have been shouting at her. She’s also had nasty messages on Instagram.”
Despite being badly shaken, Abi did not call the police. The insider explained: “She doesn’t see the point. She’s been to them before when being harassed and the explanation always was that she’s in the public eye, so there’s nothing they can do about it.”

Last week, Conor McGregor managed to do everything from telling Floyd Mayweather Jr. to “dance for me, boy,” twice, to referring to African-Americans as “monkeys” and saying he’s “half black from the belly button down.”
Yet, the UFC superstar’s father insists that his son “is not racist” and furthermore that the August 26 mega bout between McGregor and Mayweather “is not about race.”
“Conor McGregor is not racist,” his dad, Tony McGregor, insisted, while speaking with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour podcast. “This fight is not about race, this fight is about skill and technique. In fact, I don’t think any fight is ever about race. The color of skin is immaterial. It’s the victory that Conor is looking for. It’s imperative, that’s the only thing I’d say in that.”

On August 26, Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor are set to battle each other in the ring, but the bad blood between them began over two years ago when McGregor appeared on The Conan O’Brien Show, and O’Brien asked if he would ever consider taking on Mayweather. McGregor smiled and uttered the now infamous phrase, “If you’re asking would I like to fight Floyd Mayweather — I mean, who would not like to dance around the ring for $180 million?” With those words, the most anticipated fight of the 21st Century was set into motion.

As two of the best trash-talkers in sports, Mayweather and McGregor began their worldwide tour promoting their fight on July 11th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, caked with machismo and a nonstop flow of insults. After the July 12th press conference at Toronto’s Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, the wheels flew-off the wagon on July 13th at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, when Mayweather showered McGregor with insults, and in return, McGregor showered Mayweather with dollar bills. A bizarre showing, to say the least, but that did not stop the two from closing out their tour at SSE Arena, Wembley in London on July 14th.

Regardless of who is favored or how lopsided the event may seem, pay-per-view (PPV) buys are expected to break records. UFC President Dana White said that “odds-makers are already taking bets” on how many PPV buys the fight will attract. According to Claire Atkinson of the NY Post, estimates have reached nearly 4.9 million.

The fight, to be held at the 20,000 seat capacity Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena, will no doubt see exorbitant pricing for tickets via secondary exchange sites such as StubHub. CBS Sports is reporting that tickets are expected to range from $500 to $10,000. The $500 tickets will be limited, with the average ticket expected to cost $2,500-$5,000. There is no telling just how much some seats will resell for, but it’s almost a guarantee that ringside seats will be in the six-figure range. Secondary prices will stand toe-to-toe with, and most likely beat, record-setting sales from the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight.

Even with the thousands of dollars being spent on tickets, no one will have to pay more to be a part of this fight than sponsors. Companies are expected to have to pay approximately $10 million to sponsor the fight. In comparison, sponsors paid $5.6 million to sponsor Floyd Mayweather’s mega-fight with Manny Pacquiao. The featured sponsor will get its logo at the center of the ring, branding on ring girls, two of the ropes, and the two non-fighter corners of the ring. Additionally, the $10 million price tag includes sponsorship of the first minute of every round on the broadcast and $500,000 in tickets. Even if the fight does not go the distance and is a rather forgetful affair, there is no denying the epic level of money that will flow throughout the entirety of this event. In the end win, lose, or draw, Mayweather and McGregor will both come out on top as recipients of mega paydays.

The Super Bowl is annually the biggest betting event of the year in the U.S. This year, though, it may be eclipsed by a boxing match.
Kevin Bradley, the sports book manager of Bovada.lv, said betting on Mayweather-McGregor has been massive already.
“We knew this fight would be big, potentially even bigger than the Super Bowl, but now we are almost certain it will be,” Bradley said. “The recent trash talking and promotional tour is only encouraging bets and at this rate we cannot even imagine how much we will take on it. One thing is for sure though, we will need Mayweather huge. A McGregor early round KO as he promised would be a potential disaster and is partly a reason we are giving a great price on Mayweather at the moment.”
Bovada released a slew of wagering possibilities, but the odds on McGregor have dropped significantly. Mayweather is down to minus-500, while McGregor is now at plus-350.
Amazingly, a prop bet on whether Mayweather will be knocked down or out is only at plus-350. Mayweather is 49-0 and has only been down once in his career, and that came when he intentionally touched the canvas with his glove in the final round of a fight he was winning big because his hand was injured and he wanted a brief break.

Here are some other betting possibilities from Bovada:
Will Conor McGregor throw a kick in the match?
Yes      +1100   (11/1)
No        -6500   (1/65)
Will there be a point deducted?
Yes      +350     (7/2)
No         -600     (1/6)
Will both fighters be knocked down?
Yes      +600     (6/1)
No         -1600   (1/16)
Will either fighter be knocked down or out?
Yes      -375     (4/15)
No        +240     (12/5)
Will Floyd Mayweather Jr. be knocked down or out?
Yes      +350     (7/2)
No        -600     (1/6)
Will Conor McGregor be knocked down or out?
Yes       -300     (1/3)
No        +200     (2/1)
Total rounds
Over     9.5        +125     (5/4)
Under   9.5        -175     (4/7)
Will the fight go the distance?
Yes      +160     (16/10)
No        -230     (10/23)

Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor wrapped up their four-stop international press tour last Friday at the SSE Arena at Wembley Stadium in London England, and one fan managed to get in by creating a fake press pass.
Youtube user Zach Alsop recently gave a detailed account of how he discovered a photo of the necessary credentials on Instagram and then crafted an identical copy.
With a suit and his [fake] laminated credentials, Alsop was able to sneak into the arena with Mayweather’s camp and ultimately stand alongside Conor McGregor as he made his way to the stage in London. His video has got him over 800,000 views so far with most comments lauding him for his brazen approach,

Tonight, is the fourth and final stop on the Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather multi-city media tour.
There have already been plenty of amazing moments over the past three days. From a mink coat, to weasels to money, there’s been nearly no stone unturned in McGregor and Mayweather’s trash talk. And while it’s not exactly home soil, with the final location taking place in London, McGregor is set to walk out in front of a crowd likely to be nearly unanimous in support for him. Things got pretty edgy when Floyd Mayweather’s bodyguards suddenly surrounded the Irish UFC champ at his signal. Immediately the Conor security team stood between the Mayweather group and MacGregor to avoid any physical contact. If the pressers are anything to judge by, then we are in for an unforgettable fight on August 26!

Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor will go face to face for the third time this week on Thursday night, as their whistle-stop media tour arrives in New York City.

The NYC presser will be held at the Barclays Centre and is due to get underway at 11.30pm BST. We’ll be bringing you live coverage of the event from around 10pm.

Unsurprisingly, the press tour has been thrilling, controversial and surreal in equal measure.

Mayweather was widely judged to have got the better of McGregor at the first press conference in LA, but the Irishman more than got his own back in Toronto a night later, when he ridiculed the size of his adversary’s head and the fact he cannot read, before turning his fire on Showtime.

One way or another, there will be two winners in next month’s Floyd Mayweather Jr./Conor McGregor bout: whoever wins in the ring, and Uncle Sam.

Mayweather banks lavish paychecks, a fact of which he’s happy to remind you on Instagram and elsewhere. But when you post a photo of your nine-figure check, the federal government is going to want its taste. That, apparently, is exactly what has happened for the 2015 tax year. The IRS wants its cut, and Mayweather is asking for a short reprieve while he, you know, earns a boatload of new cash.

“Although the taxpayer has substantial assets, those assets are restricted and primarily illiquid,” Mayweather said in a petition to the IRS, according to Law360 (via ESPN). “The taxpayer has a significant liquidity event scheduled in about 60 days from which he intends to pay the balance of the 2015 tax liability due and outstanding.”

That “significant liquidity event” is, of course, the fight, at which Mayweather could earn up to $100 million. That would seem to be enough to pay off most tax bills, provided, of course, you pay off the taxes due on that paycheck.

Mayweather earned an estimated $220 million from his 2015 fight with Manny Pacquiao. While it’s not known exactly how much he owes, the IRS apparently did indicate it believes he has enough non-liquid assets—cars, property, and the like—to satisfy his outstanding debt.

On August 26 fans of boxing and MMA from around the world will on the edges of their seats as two top fighters in their combat styles, Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather will face off in a historic bout. The predictions of the outcome are heavily in favour of undefeated boxing star Floyd Mayweather, as the fight will take place under boxing rules. The Irish double UFC champion has been training to get used to the style with various sparring partners. A video was released showing McGregor in the ring with former South African champion Chris Van Heerden, and the footage is not very flattering for Conor. The video was reportedly shot one year ago, so maybe McGregor has improved since then? But has he improved enough to fight arguably the best boxer in history? We’ll have to wait and see.

Unbeaten boxer Floyd Mayweather will fight UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor in a much-discussed boxing match on Aug. 26 in Las Vegas, a well-placed source told Yahoo Sports on Wednesday.

Mayweather and McGregor both confirmed the fight on social media on Wednesday.

According to UFC president Dana White, the fight will be at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and will be contested at 154 pounds. It will be a standard, 12-round boxing match with 10-ounce gloves. The Nevada Athletic Commission on Wednesday approved the request from Mayweather Promotions to put on a boxing card on Aug. 26 at the MGM Grand. The venue could change, however, to T-Mobile.

The bout will be distributed via Showtime pay-per-view. It will be an entirely boxing card. Mayweather Promotions will be the lead promoter.

It is a stunning development given that Mayweather, the greatest boxer of his era, had said he was retired after compiling a 49-0 pro record from 1996 through 2015. But with a fight which could pay each man in excess of $100 million, he reconsidered.

Mayweather is considered the greatest boxer of his generation and among the best of all-time. The fight with McGregor, in addition to paying him in excess of nine figures, will give him the opportunity to improve to 50-0.

McGregor’s promoter, UFC President Dana White, appeared on Inside the NBA on TNT and revealed an agreement for McGregor’s half to the fight Mayweather was complete.
“The McGregor side is done,” White said. “I’m starting to work on the Mayweather side now.”
Although the specifics of the deal were not revealed, McGregor subsequently confirmed White’s comments in a statement released on his personal website, TheMacLife.com.
“It is an honor to sign this record-breaking deal alongside my partners Zuffa LLC, The Ultimate Fighting Championship and Paradigm Sports Management,” McGregor said. “The first, and most important part of this historic contract, has now officially been signed off on. Congratulations to all parties involved. We now await (Mayweather adviser) Al Haymon and his boxer’s signature in the coming days.”
Despite the significance, McGregor putting pen to paper for a clash with Mayweather would have to be considered the easy part of negotiations. Dealing with Mayweather is an entirely different story, and it’s impossible to predict how talks with “Money” will realistically unfold.

Most of the fighting fans around the world would love to see double UFC champion Conor McGregor and undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather step into the ring and face-off. Rumours of such a bout being arranged had always been floating around, especially since the Irish fighter received his boxing license. Mayweather had not ruled out the idea, but made it clear that he would consider getting it on only if the money was up to his standard. On his part, McGregor posted a comment on his instagram account saying he would be OK with 100 million pounds. McGregor has taken time off his UFC fights, as his wife is expecting their first child.
