At least 42 Turkish military helicopters are still unaccounted for by the authorities in the country after the failed military coup of Friday, according to CNN Turk. As the Turkish media outlet reports this could mean a new coup attempt might be launched against the Erdogan government. The rebel military faction of the Turksih armed forces had control of six F-16 fighter jets during their attempt to seize control of the county on Friday. The jets took off from the Incirlik air base in the southeast part of the county and flew over Ankara and Istanbul. In a country that seems divided the possibility of rogue military helicopters raise fears of another coup attempt.
